Child's ProAir

The Point Two Child's ProAir is the lightweight air vest and the ideal safety choice for whatever discipline your children choose — from hacking to eventing. It is easy to use, wipes clean and inflates in the blink of an eye to protect the child in the event of a fall.

RRP $475 *BLACK FRIDAY SPECIAL!* $285 (+6% sales tax for FL orders)

 How the Child's ProAir works

The air jacket is inflated by canister of C02, stored on the front of the jacket. When the child separates from the saddle, the canister is activated by the release of a lanyard that is clipped from the jacket onto an attachment on the saddle. The air bags will inflate within one tenth of a second — roughly equivalent to the blink of an eye.

The ProAir will hold the child tight for 15-20 seconds and then slowly deflate over two to three minutes. While the jacket is inflated, the rider will continue to have full movement of their waist, arms and legs, and partial movement of their head.

Areas of protection
The ProAir provides enhanced protection to all the major thoracic and upper abdominal organs, the spine and the collar of the neck. It also helps guard against crushing injuries in the event of a rotational fall.

Should it be worn with or without a body protector?
The safest way to wear the ProAir is in conjunction with a conventional body protector, however some riders choose to wear the air vest alone while hacking or riding at home.
Pony Club rules stipulate that when an air vest is used, it must be worn on top of a conventional body protector. Other affiliated competition — for example British Eventing horse trials — stipulate that a BETA-approved Level 3 body protector must be used.

The Point Two Child's ProAir is fully reusable, and requires servicing annually or after every six falls.

All jackets come ready to use with bungee lanyard, saddle attachment and two canisters, one in the jacket and a spare. Every jacket is sold with a spare canister to give riders the opportunity to experience a test inflation of their new garment. It is highly recommended riders take advantage of this, so they know how the system works and how the jacket feels prior to a real accident.

Once you have received your jacket please watch the Fitting your Jacket video on the front page of our website to ensure you have the right size.

Every year we will replace the vest with a new airbag. We will inspect the pistons, springs, and parts and will replace if needed. If the outer shell is damaged the customer will be required to purchase a new shell at the cost of $100.00. This is a shell replacement at a 50% discount to our regular price.

By doing this service plan, we believe the ultimate safety can be affordable for all riders.

We hope this offer interests you and look forward to hearing from you soon.
